Glenfarg Community Centre needs your support!

The pandemic has highlighted the importance of our community being able to meet together and socialise.  We are all missing this aspect of village life and looking forward to when we can get together once again.

It is good to know that the Hall is once again open for community groups to use - albeit in a limited way with social distancing etc.  We hope that our community groups will once again make use of the facilities that are available.

As you may know the Hall Committee has reorganised itself so that it is better able to bring on the exciting plans to create a Community Centre that will  bring together the existing Hall and the adjoining Schoolhouse as one building offering a variety of space for community use.  In addition to offering space, it is also planned to offer food during the day and to arrange groups for young people.

To do this we need your help.  The Board of Trustees is responsible for running the Hall but there is also much that needs to be done to make the Community Centre plans a reality.  If you have energy and enthusiasm to help your community – especially as it recovers from the Covid pandemic then please have a word with one of our Trustees.  There are many different ways in which you could help - and one of us can give you more information about what we do and how you might be able to help.  We need new ideas, enthusiasm and support so I hope you will step up and have a chat with one of us soon.   Our AGM is on December 2nd (virtual) and more details are available here.

Or phone me on 07768661160 any time…….
